Annual Inspections

Annual inspection allow an AAADM certified technician to identify and repair standard wear and tear before it causes major problems to your door system. Technicians also ensure that your door meets current ANSI safety standards. Door manufacturers recommend your door be professionally inspected at least once a year.

AAADM Certification

The American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers, or AAADM, is a trade organization that works with door manufacturers and installers to ensure that technicians are competent in the care and maintenance of automatic doors. Their door certification program helps to establish a standard of safety and reliability in the industry.

Our annual inspections include:

Sliding Doors

Check surrounding area for obstructions and hazards

Replace missing or damaged safety decals

Secure or replace loose or missing glass stops

Check door panel alignment

Inspect and clean door tracks

Replace missing or damaged weather stripping

Inspect locking mechanism

Inspect drive system for signs of wear

Identify and replace standard wearable items

Ensure all wiring is properly routed and protected from moving parts

Reinstall and secure access cover
